The reproductions move from recognisable figuration into abstraction, notation, collage and works that test where drawing ends and other media begin. Among the artists represented are Jean Dubuffet, Frank Auerbach, John Piper, Antoni Tàpies and David Hockney; the survey also included Helen Frankenthaler, whose \u003cem\u003eGrenadine\u003c\/em\u003e and \u003cem\u003eBending Blue\u003c\/em\u003e were reproduced in the catalogue. \u003cspan class=\"contents\"\u003e\u003cspan class=\"\"\u003e\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe exhibition was significant locally too.
