'pitch to publish' will be a way for writers to raise funds for self-publishing projects through hosted work and shared sales. Selected texts will be published and put for sale on the site, with a significant portion of the proceeds going directly toward the author’s future publication costs or other writing pursuits.
Though for now we can only host digital publications and artefacts, in time, some projects may move toward publication. For now, the focus is simple — readers support work they want to exist; writers retain agency; publishing happens without institutional gatekeeping.

'show your work' will spotlight Australian writers — here and ones based overseas — publishing through independent outlets only. No legacy media links, no institutional platforms.
This is a way to show a curated map of work published by writers independently. Essays, fiction, criticism, hybrid forms — writing that is structurally interesting, formally alert, or quietly difficult. Can be Substack, can be a piece of scrap paper you wrote on in a café. Think of it as a new kind of reading list.
