Bob's Books

Bob's Books

Bob’s Books specialises in the margins. Circus, crime, film theory, vaudeville. The kinds of shelves that feel like backstage corridors rather than front windows.

Bob is a professional mime, trained at the Paris school founded by Marcel Marceau, and a long-time physical theatre practitioner. That sensibility runs through his collecting: ephemera, spectacle, subculture, lives lived slightly off-centre.

He also works with the Brotherhood of St. Laurence as a book appraiser, and over the years has handled and collected thousands of volumes.

Bob’s Books isn’t built on trends, more a lifetime of looking closely. See more of Bob's books outside this curation here.
