Strangers is an epistolary novel set across 1988–1989, unfolding through letters exchanged between two men living on opposite sides of the world.

Adrian remains in Thatcher’s Britain, enclosed by political stagnation and personal uncertainty. Harri has left for Australia, pursuing distance, reinvention, and the promise of something looser and less defined.
