Sultry Ceramics
Sultry Ceramics is a Melbourne-based ceramic practice founded by Natalie, based in Naarm/Melbourne. She hand-makes pieces shaped by natural textures, earth tones, and organic form.
Working across wheel-thrown and hand-built techniques, her studio produces objects that sit between utility and sculpture — vases, burners, keepsakes and small domestic pieces that feel grounded, tactile, and softly and irresistibly irregular; much like the best books.
The work draws on landscapes, soil, mist, darker clay bodies and biophilic design, with a practice shaped by reuse, recycled packaging, and a preference for making things that last.
