Made in grey clay and finished in Sultry Ceramics’ pale Mist glaze, it sits somewhere between functional object and little domestic sculpture — simple, tactile, and calm without trying too hard to announce it. 

It intentionally has the soft, sheltering shape of a small ceramic cubby-house, with a rounded cavity for a tealight below and a shallow dish above for oil and water. Use it with a tealight and a few drops of essential oil to throw scent through a room, or leave it on the shelf as it is. It'll look like you're reading a book with a torch inside that cubby you built as a kid.

A good gift, especially folded into a book order for someone who likes their practical objects to have a bit more character than they strictly need.

To use: add water to the upper bowl, light a tealight below, and add a few drops of essential oil. Wipe clean after use, and don’t leave unattended while burning.
