A privately printed Italian poetry collection, holding flashes of lyric wonder and a darker rhetoric of endurance.

In “Rinunzia d’amore,” a rainbow appears as sudden harmony before the speaker closes their eyes; elsewhere, the solitary traveller continues through insult, laughter and collective delirium without hearing them. It is poetry of spiritual abrasion—earnest, private and very much of the small-press Italian lyric tradition.

La Cooperativa Tipolitografica is a self-managed libertarian print shop founded in 1974 in Carrara, Italy. Located on Via San Piero, it was created to print books, newspapers, and pamphlets for the anarchist movement, including the historic periodical Umanità Nova. This is an unusually scarce, locally produced volume, printed in Carrara in December 1991. The catalogued edition comprises 123 pages and credits Veronica Bilotta for the cover design.

Inscribed presentation copy, apparently signed by the author: “con molta stima e amicizia” — “with great esteem and friendship.” The signature appears consistent with Albarosa Quaglino/Faggioni, though I would describe it as “apparently author-inscribed” rather than promise forensic certainty. An Albarosa Quaglino Faggioni associated with Carrara is documented in Italian records, which strengthens that attribution.
