This is a small wheel-thrown vase by Sultry Ceramics, finished in Mist clay — soft grey with black speckling — and left raw so the texture does the talking. Slip is brushed across the surface in loose, expressive layers, giving the piece a rough, gathered feel and a form that looks slightly different from every side.
