Don Anderson’s selection moves deliberately between established and then-emerging writers, placing Elizabeth Jolley, Helen Garner, David Malouf, Frank Moorhouse, Michael Wilding, Ania Walwicz, Moya Costello, Gerard Windsor and others in to a style that conforms to the comic, domestic, strange, political and feral. It rubs the competing versions of so-called 'Australianness' against one another. Interesting little look at 90's lit.
